Update On The National Workshop for Coordinators
By Matthews Otalike, NCC / January 5, 2026
The National Service of Communion has set the dates for the national workshop for coordinators. It is to be held at the Diocesan level between the 3rd and 4th week of April.
In a statement, the National Secretary of the CCRN, Prof. James Ojochenemi Yakubu said the decision to decentralize the workshop was taken at an earlier meeting of the National Service of Communion with a view to reducing the cost and burden of movement of members of the CCRN in the National Conference year.
Five topics to include the theme of the workshop, which is expected to last three days, and it should end on a Saturday to enable participants depart on Sunday morning.
The theme of the workshop is: Coordinators: Heralds of the CCRN Mission. The other topics to be taught include: "Together, We Are Stronger"; Accountability and Management (with a focus on financial, spiritual, etc.); "The Mantle and the Battle"; and "Health Talk."
The registration fee to be paid by each participating coordinator is N5,000.
These decisions were reached at the meeting of the National Service of Communion at the end of December, 2025.
