Prayer Group Coordinators, Heralds of CCRN Mission
By Matthews Otalike / March 27, 2026
A Welcome Address By The National Coordinator, Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Nigeria, on the occasion of the National All Coordinators' Retreat. (Theme, "Coordinators, Heralds of CCRN'S Mission")

Dear Coordinators of the Charismatic Renewal in Nigeria,
I warmly welcome you to this National Coordinator's Retreat. I celebrate you as the heralds of CCRN's mission. The Renewal in Nigeria can't move forward without you.
This retreat is crucial, especially since this year is a National Conference year. This is a forum to discuss matters that will help us understand that we are all stakeholders in the Renewal, and that we cannot plan and execute a National Conference without fully involving the Coordinators.
I want to let you know that for the forthcoming National Conference to succeed, you have a vital role to play. As I welcome you to this retreat, I urge you to consider this year's National Conference a priority. Start sensitizing your Dioceses, Deaneries, prayer groups, ministries, and wings immediately after this retreat. Put every mechanism in place to ensure a successful National Conference from 12th to 15th November 2026, at the National Centre, Ubuluku, Delta State.
I'm counting on you. The NEC, NSC and NCPC rely on you for a successful National Conference. Please, play your part by carrying out every directive issued for the planning of the National Conference, and God will continue to bless and speak for you.
Participate fully in this retreat, engage in the spiritual exercises, and you'll be transformed. This is an interactive event where you'll share and learn from others. Don't let any moment pass you by, make the most of this opportunity, and God will elevate you.
I welcome you once again and pray for a spirit-filled and fruitful retreat. May you have a wonderful time, and may God take you back to your various destinations as better coordinators than when you came
Thank you, and remain blessed.
Celestine Ugwu
National Coordinator
